About me
Growing up in the Dutch region ‘Alblasserwaard’ I have always been fascinated by this wide and open landscape surrounded by large rivers and covered with windmills. Although I bought my first camera when I was 14 years of age I did not start to capture the beauty of this landscape untill I discovered the advantages of digital photography a few years ago that improved my photographic interest.
In always trying to capture that special light or circumstances I believe to have created a style of my own. Not surprisingly, the quietness of the early morning and the famous ‘blue hour’ just before sunset are my favorite times of the day.

I also find a lot of inspiration in watching the work of great
photographers like ‘Paul van Gaalen’ and ‘Fred Hazelhoff’.
Especially the last one has always been a great example to me.
Besides pictures of the Dutch landscape you can also find
pictures that have been taken during travels and holidays abroad.
